Minimum diameter reduction on a 6201 aluminum rod to make a full T8. I need to get the mechanical properties of a T8 heat treatment in a 6201 aluminum alloy rod. This T8 involves a cold work phase and for that we are drawing it, how much does one has to reduce in diameter to consider a full T8 treatment done?
