Dark Matter

03/11/2010 3:41 PM

Could dark matter be an effect of massive amounts of matter moving thru the energy that permeates space, similar to voltage being induced in a moving conductor by a magnetic field? Matter warps space time, much as a conductor warps magnetic lines. It must require force of some type to move thru space time while warping it.

Is there anything else that can warp space time besides mass ( concentrated energy)?

Opinions/theories on the nature of dark matter are like butts, everybody seems to have one, and they all stink to some degree. My favorite theory posits that there is an infinite number of paralell multiverses and "dark matter" is actually gravitational leakage from one or more multiverses with close but not identical physical constants impinging upon our own.

But your mileage may vary.
