CFM Calculation

my pressure requirement is 6kg/sq.cm, and distance between compressor and reciever is 200mtr. what will be the compressor cfm capacity to maintaned 6kg/sq.cm if leakage is 3%.?

How many cfm do the loads use? Add them up and divide by 0.97 to get the compressor cfm required.

Could you tell me what are the horse power (HP) of the compressor been used and the inside diameter of the pipeline? Different sizes of inside diameter of the pipeline can actually effect the air flow to be used in a manner of pressure and volume.

You don't say nothing about flow, diameter of the pipe, isometrics! In a speciality book, this questions are requeird.

Use D'Arcy-Weisbach equation.

In real life you don't like to have a pressure loss in your system yeah!
