03/13/2010 10:37 AM

Hello

I've a problem to read the information from my gps module(SANAV FV-M8) when i'm using PIC16f877a. I already get the information through my PIC, but the language of the gps is unreadable. So, i'm aasking for help if anybody know how to solve my problem.

Thanks and regard.

Probably in binary format or even BCD.

Go to the website and download utility code (C, pascal etc) and find the data structure convert the structure to your pic and you will be able to interpret the values correctly.

The website may also advise you of the format or a trigger to send to change the mode.

If nothing else is available convert the data to hex,ASCII, or binary and make a printout and Analise.

You know where you are and what the result should be.
