What is the difference between ISO and NAMUR mountings.?

What is Flush mounted instrument??

ISO is the International Standards Organization; Namur is the International User Association of Automation Technology in Process Industries. Look at them here. A flush mounted instrument as far as I can tell is exactly what it sounds like.

The original question omits any mention of the 3rd international standard for actuated valves, VDI/VDE standard for accessories, like switches.
