I'm no chemist, but doesn't lead react with acids?

Is it concentrated sulphuric acid?

Do not use lead!

Plastic is probably the best all around choice, and is very commonly uses to store sulfuric acid in any concentration.

If concentrated Sulfuric acid even Mild Steel would do.

Plastic is good for wide concentration provided temperature is not high.

FRP is good wide concentration and temperature range.

Lead would be good selection for dilute acid of high temperature. But difficult to line and maintain.

Apart from a change in electrical properties, the lead in a lead-acid battery is not affected by the acid, so I imagine lead would be OK to line a tank.

Lead can store sulphuric acid and doesn't react with it if it is concentrated. Most of the times lead react with the chemicals and damage the vessel as well as the chemicals inside it. So, it would be good for you if you could use plastic for the same.
