How to calculate the total Kwh generated per month by a diesel generator using Kw. Kw of the generator is taken every hour. Shoud I add all these values to get total Kwh for the month?
Generally speaking, yes. Realize that these readings are samples, and actual power generation/consumption may vary, but with this sampling interval most of the variations should average out over a number of readings.
That said, if you have a kWh meter attached to this system, it should be better than periodic sampling.
