Transmission Line Stiffness

Greeting all,

I need some information regarding to the following question.

Te = (dPmax)/(d delta) = Vs x Vr x cos(delta) / X

this is called the stiffness of line

Is there difference between the stiffness of line and Synchronizing coefficeint and I need explaination if somebody knows regarding these.
