Mirror mirror

If you were in a totally mirrored room, and were in suit of totally mirrored material, including mirrored sunglasses, frames included, what would you see? (assuming a totally diffused and non-point light source in the room.)

It would depend on how totally stoned I was. Do you have an optically stabilized zoom fuffer lense ranged for 30 giga flop puffers.

One thing for sure is you would see many different angles of reflections of yourself, and if like most folks a few you would not care to see (shape wise).

How can you see a reflection of a reflection?

Given that your mirrored suit would have many bends and wrinkles I believe, and I could be very well wrong since I have never been in a mirrored room with a mirrored suit on, that you would be able to see scattered patterns of bends if you moved because of the sharper bends and wrinkles, unless if the room was sphere shaped, which may hide that, and not squared.

There was a pub/club in Hong Kong that was "totally mirrored" (it was featured in a 007 film if I recall).

I can remember wondering around it as pi**ed as a newt trying to find my mates and apologising to myself when I bumped into myself.

That's funny! I could see that happening in some places I have been in.

It depends on the shape of the room, and whether curved mirrors are included.

I would think you would be invisible, or nearly.Especially if the room is spherical. You might be able to detect a ghostly shape if you moved.Or maybe not.It would depend on how perfect the shape and coatings on the mirror.

What say ye, Jorry?

Remember the alien that Swartzanegger battled, that was nearly invisible, except when moving? That is how they produced the ghostly appearance of near invisibilty. They then superimposed the image onto the background.Modern movie cameras have resolvers that record position,,angle, etc. making it easy to plot exactly where you want an object to appear on screen.

It really is all smoke and mirrors!
