Hang on, I'll just scan you question with the KrisDelTM vagueometer.
Hmmm yes it scans way up in the tens of something or other units...
That's into the sort of muddy red brown area on the scale...that's waay too vague for anything resmbling a meaningfull answer.
Maybe a slightly more specific question would bring down the vagueness coefficient?
Del

But seriously, do you mean a manual press from a finger? or a power press of the type used to stamp out car body panels? or a trouser press?
Whatever, you won't get any more power out than is put in to generate the pressing motion in the first place.

Careful, Del, it could be another plan be lesser powers to get them released

Its a basketball question. When you put a full court press on the other team, you sap them of their power. This power is not conserved. however.

If you put a full court press on anything that you are trying to do, you are more fully exercising your power.

But I'd like to know just what is the pigment used to get the muddy red brown color on the vagueometer scale.

And how much royalty does Kris get when you sell one of the darn things.

I've checked the spec' for the pigment and it's a pinch +/- a tad per tin of gloop.
The royalty is a few quid per sack full (ish)
I've checked the records and weve sold quite a few over the last interval between stock guestimates. (Well that's according to the chalk mark on the box...well a box...it may not have been the box...but wha'ever)

"my question is when we walk we press the ground by our leg by that press we can generate electric current"

You could recharge your cell phone with little piezo-generators in the heels of your shoes.

Wait, it's 8:45 PM MST (not DST) USA and I want to certify that this is my idea!

By direct pressure?

You can't make much. There are crystals that make a little electricty when compressed.

Power is usually generated by work which is generally work over a distance. Otherwise people would be making power by just putting heavy things on top of the generator.

Now, if you have distance to travel with your force (pressure) you can attach gears to translate that into a electric generator. I like the idea of powering my garage door opener by driving my vehicle onto a small ramp that is geared to raise a weight everytime I drive onto it, the weight will then open and close the door with a clockwork mechanism.

Thats why I will use a weight that will allow several open close cycles before depletion. One crank by driving onto the plate will recharge it all the way. Drew

Press = pressure?

The pressure resulting from static head is used in hydro power.

The pressure of a spring can also be used but the quantity will be minute.

Place piezoelectric film on the roadways and every time a vehicle runs over it, Like magic, you'll get a charge out of it.

Or maybe press a cat against a balloon and rub them together. Be sure the cat's friendly, otherwise he might not like those electrodes being inserted into the opposed ends of his fuzzy little body.

If the OP is referring to pressure, he should read the article a couple of days ago about the almost perpetual motion submarine.

do you mean the papers, press, the media?

you need to supply more infomation in your questions.

part of the job of the press is to supply as much information as possible, if this is the sort of press you are asking about

Re: Innovation

anything is possible, it just a matter of is it worth it.

in my opinion NO!

There are so many other more efficient ways to achieve the desired goal it would be a waste of time

at the moment you can charge a phone by.

1 usb plug in computer

2 usb in mains socket

3 solar panels

4 wind up radio

5 wind up torch

6 AA battery booster.

7 dry cell replacement

How many more can anyone think of?

Go back in the KrisDelTM time machine to a time when it was fully charged.

(Or a little wind generator)

Now, I am confused...why would it take 5 wind-up torches to charge a phone...I would think one would be sufficient...

I'm sure a phone charger built into a shoe has already been done..maybe by the wind up radio guy? Trevor Baylis.
Dunno... where's my vagueometer gone?
