Where do you want to start a business? Look around for opportunities. Check the industries and try to fill in their needs.

There is always work when:

1. You are available when others aren't

2. You work time that others rest.

3. You take the job that others do not want

4. You do things that others cannot. Just a few ideas. That is how I started. It works everywhere.

Dear Dinesh,

First of all you have to do homework like,

1) Make one vision and a mission, until unless you achieve it should not stop. and after achievment start improving the same.

2) Study the market and potential cutomers where you can focus make a list for that and keep in mind your competeters.

3) Start contacting people whom you know and who are useful to you and your business and insist them for a opportunity.

4) Standardise your items with best Price and Taxes so if some one ask you for offer within 2 Hours you will be able to do the same.

5) All things should be recorded at least at your level so in future if you have something to refer you can do it easily and it also help exercese your brain also.

accordingly with all this the Govt. Registration and all commercial approvals you have to take care your self by involving personally so your overall growth will be enhanced.

in the last I wish you all the Very Best for your Future may we will meet some day with your prestigious company....

Regards,

Concentrate on keeping customers satisfied. Once that is underway, concentrate on keeping customers delighted.

Hi Dinesh:

I have watched a many of people become consultants (individual running thier own business), even helped a few become consultants in our industry. The success of most has been starting out with their exisiting contacts they developed while in the business. (not sure how many you made in just 5 years.)

But being an individual, working for your self, it is all about networking. Every new potential client is like yet another job interview. Most in our industry hire an indivudal consultant based on years of experience. Starting around 10-20 years experience.

I advice all individual consultants to set up their own website. A good example of a website targeted at industrial control is at BIN95.com :>) Becuase networking is a primary key to being a successful consultant (next to actualy having the experience), social networking sites is a good match for find new prospects. LinkedIn.com being best, followed by twitter.com, and FaceBook.com all of which you want to tought your experience and help others as a means to networking new clientel. If you can create related videos, YouTube.com is a great way to get additional visibility. See our Industrial Training Video Cahnnel at http://www.youtube.com/user/bin952
