	Is there any change in 2 inch Slip On Reaised Face Flange (SORF) strength, when 3mm dia throught vent hole is drilled in hub portion of Loose type SORF flange?

	Why do you want a vent hole in a slip-on flange?

	If the flange is being welded on both sides, the vent hole relieves pressure of heated air that would otherwise be confined between the two welds. I'm not positive, but I don't think any atrength correction is required for such a small round hole. __________________ In vino veritas; in cervisia carmen; in aqua E. coli.
