Out of Step protection, 78

Dear fellow Engrs.

Can anyone give me a link or explain what should be the proper connection of phase angle measuring relay 78. And how would this be presented and explained in vector diagram.

Any model, Actually I've seen some connection in catalog, but there is no explanation how that connetion has arrived.
