Oh please.

I had started a rebuttal, but I'm not wasting the time.

Youtube is your source of evidence?

Do you also believe that 9/11 was an inside job?

Uncanny and similar to statements of my father. His was that since I get much of my information from the Internet it was some how less reputable than that garnered from the paper tube found on the driveway in the morning.

You'll like this better though:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zORv8wwiadQ&feature=fvw

The contention is the global warming has been occurring since the last ice age and this climate evolution has not changed regardless of human conduct. So ticket "A" in the video will be a lot of money and waste spend on an environment out of our control

911? Is on a par with magic bullets... absurdity

As you have proven, any jerk with a $10.00 camera can become a self proclaimed expert in any subject they choose.

At least with the paper tube, most information presented is gathered by someone working for a living and may have even been verified by a second or third source. If you are suggesting that these You Tube offerings have ANY credibility at all, then any further conversation is pointless.

I'll bet your father and I would get along just fine.

Cheers.

I don't often view you tube due a general lack of erudite commentary but sometimes it's fun

Seems we've found some common ground. I like guns too.

I have read somewhere that about 70% of the information on the Internet is erroneous, misleading, misrepresented, motivated by ulterior motives or outright intentional lies. What was left out of that particular discussion was that, prior to the Internet, about 90% of the information available to the general public was erroneous, misleading, misrepresented, motivated by ulterior motives or outright intentional lies. Perhaps YouTube may not be the most viable source for valid information on every subject, I would have to say that, overall, the Internet is a slight improvement over what we had available in the past. I'm not saying it's perfect, mind you...

Most likely you read it on the internet.

Just remember....everything I say is a lie.

PS. I have been saying for years that Global Warming sounds a whole lot better than the only other available option, which is Global Cooling...

I read somewhere on the Internet most likely there has been a general global warming trend interspersed with cooling periods since the most recent ice age. The expectation climate is effected by these periods of warming and cooling is of great debate though the unaltered history available indicates such has always been the case and need for debate never considered. My question is are we collectively smarter now than in an earlier cooler period?

I wonder why the plant in the higher concentration of CO2 appears to writhe about so much more.

Here is a video presentation by a trusted source in the scientific community. Don't forget about ocean acidification from absorption of CO2 and that we are warming when we are supposed to be headed for the next ice age.

You are "free" to believe what you will but don't argue with the science without reproducable and publishable results and tests.

Thank you, I do believe warming is occurring and notice rapid increase of warming precipitates an ice age. I understand the dynamic and a world without carbon fuels is attractive; we're long over due an adjustment of our fuel choices. It is the chosen method of implementing the changes I believe are flawed; education has done more to create the desire of this change than the pending economic woe.

The video has truthiness: it's idiotic, but appears to make a case.

It has been known for decades that CO2 speeds growing -- greenhouse owners sometimes use it for that reason. However, the fact that CO2 makes plants grow does not mean that climate change is a good thing.

The video, in a long and drawn out way, shows what people have known for ages. The video is no more useful than one showing a satisfied Coke drinker, saying that carbonated Coke is better than flat Coke.

It is a fact that natural gas furnaces work very well on natural gas (methane). It is also a fact that methane is a very strong greenhouse gas. That does not mean that we should release methane into the atmosphere, simply because it is good for a particular purpose.

Here is a good cartoon about climate change. I think it makes the point we are all trying to say which is: A better world is always worth it!

AH! We do agree...but the idea of taking from me and paying to a third world nation is ludicrous. We should be able to correct our situation by ourselves and hopefully in November significant changes will precipitate the process to begin working towards the type of better world we all need without dependence on petroleum products.
