This is an Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer You can read about it here.

Or, are you looking for this?

This is me on the beach, looking for wristwatches, whistles, pop cans... whatever I find. That day, I think I found a Church's Fried Chicken joint. Not with the metal detector, at the beach, but a little later.

Hey there Milo.

We had no criteria from OP to guide us, so I simply selected one and tossed it out.

I also understand it is a more expensive piece of equipment!

Hand-held magnets are good for identifying ferrous metals.
