Hydropower Station - 220 kV GIS

What kind of GIS is suitable for 220 kv GIS? And how do I calculate the no. of feeders required? I am talking about hydropower station.

Divide the total amperage produced by the current-carrying capacity of the cables you intend to use; this will tell you how many per phase.

What Is "GIS" in this context? Surely not "Geographic Information System."
