D E Laurence Permeability Test

05/05/2010 9:28 AM

A situtation has arisen where a paper written by D E laurence concerning a permeability test for concrete is a controling factor for a project here in Canada. The author has passed and I would like to know if anyone has history/experience concerning this test...

Regards,

Jim

no need to pour (place) salt on wounds.

I'm not an expert.. I just mix the stuff up and use it when needed.

Also, if anyone has the formula used, it would greatly be appreciated...

Need more info.

What is the date of the paper and where was it published.

Are you sure you spelled the author's name correctly. What are his credentials.

How can a paper be the controlling factor unless it is reference in a standard (CSA ASTM or ACI) in which case the paper would be readily available.

Basing a design on a single obscure paper is not very prudent.

What exactly are you testing for.

Are you involved in a legal issue and looking for a loophole.
