Are these 3 (or more) transformer postings for a project, homework or some other purpose?

The reactor is an element that can control the voltage and power flow in a power system. Its resistance in ideal is zero and in real is very low. The reactor is a wire that is turned around a core (the core can be magnetic material such as steel or it can be air or free space). When a current passes through it, a voltage will induced across it. The reactor works according to the Faraday law which says: If a varying magnetic field passes through a coil, a voltage will induced (made) on that coil.
Reactors / chokes / inductors / coils – often used for smoothing in rectifiers, reducing short-circuit currents, AC filtering, commutation in thyristors and high frequency switching.

different type reactors:-

arc suppression reactors, capacitor damping reactors, current limiting reactors, filter reactors,Neutral earthing reactors, shunt reactors

Thank you for the precise explanation...but i do have a question in my mind???

What type of reactors do we use in Transformers? Is it Arc suppression reactors or current limiting reactors or is it some other reactors? please reply soon..
