Temperature compensation in flow measurement?

what is the purpose of using temperature compensation in flow measurement rather than pressure compensation?

What kind of flow measurement? For example, both temp and press are integral components of ultrasonic gas flow measurements. We need to know this stuff to help.

If you look at Boyles law You will observe Volume is much dependent on Pressure & Temperature .Theoretically if the Pressure and Temperature remain constant, can be neglected but in the nature of gas, Pressure and Temperature will not be constant affected by environment/ process condition,

Please expand the posting. What technique of flow measurement is being used?

Temperature compensation is irrelevant to coriolis mass flowmeters, for example.
