Sounds to me like a lot of hot air! But then that's the whole idea, after all.... This will entail an extreme-duty HX, on account of both temperature and corrosion possibilities. What sorts of flow rates and air-side pressure are in mind?

The air flow rate entering the HX is 104.75 kg/sec . Is shell and tube HX is doing the work with the air in the shell side.
