Delta-V v/s Instrumentation`

Dear all, m 1st time going to work with DELTA-V (emerson) system do anybody wouldlike to give me some guideline about delta-v for instrumention how's it different than another system & hows instrumentation work ?

I don't think so, there is lots of money to be made in training and education...apparently.

dear,

You have to search on the google and also take help from the vendor's catalogue. Compare it with your previous experience and then you will find the difference of delta-V and the other previously used automation products.

Hope you will find a solution.

Unlike most DCS's which require customer registration for access o documentation, Emerson's DeltaV is fairly open.

DeltaV News, a web site with current and archived webinars is accessible here:
http://news.easydeltav.com/

Wikipedia has links to Emerson's marketing white papers on typical topics like bus techologies and safety technologies.

Search for DeltaV on youtube will even bring up results.

Lots of info out there.
