These are normally produced by injection molding.

Unless they are glass, of course.

Have you done any research, other than coming here?

Like maybe Googling fresnel lense?

Thanks for your reply. Can the die cavity of mold fill with hot runner system giving all the details? The material used is PMMA.I read that compression molding can also be used for this. Also tooling is very critical.

"Can the die cavity of mold fill with hot runner system giving all the details?" Yes, if the proper grade of acrylic is used. "I read that compression molding can also be used for this." It can be. Cycle times will be much longer.

You could also mix your own liquid PMMA and pour it into an open top mold and cure it. This would be the slowest process.

Scary thought. It sounds like he wants to set up a plant to produce Fresnel lenses without knowing how it's actually done.

For people such as this, ignorance of the facts is rarely a deterrent.

At least he hasn't asked how to hook up the 440V service, yet.

That reminds of the story about an electrical maintenance chap called in to set right a HT line blown down in high wind. He asks his helper to move aside one of the bare cables lying on the ground. The helper pushes it aside and asks what next. The electrician says,' Then the other one must be the HT cable'. Bioramani

For that matter, the spelling "lense" was a likely tipoff of naiveté.
