If by chance you are referring to flanges and valves than the answerer is pressure rating.

But first.... What are you referring to? This could be flanges, trucks, or possibly even women in some parts of the world!

They are flange styles.

They aren't pressure ratings, as the pressure rating of a specific style of flange reduces as the termperature increases.
