What does it mean?

I HAVE FOUND ONE COMPANY ASKING MY CR4 NUMBER.
Well ask them!

Life would be so much simpler if people would simply ask for clarification when they don't understand something rather than pretending they do and wreaking havoc

I thought it was one of them existential things, y'know, like, 'what's this place all about?'

"THE QUESTION IS WHAT IS CR NUMBER"

I am assuming we are talking your member number. If you hover your cursor over Doorman's name in the left column, at the bottom left hand corner of your monitor you will see cr4.globalspec.com/member?u=25590.

My member number is 25590.

That's quite all right, Kalyan. Maybe if you log in and add what situation/context this request for CR number arose, somebody might be kind enough to help. Members aren't quite as harsh as they appear. Not using all those capital letters would help an awful lot, though I don't mind one little bit.

??

There are a few numbers associated with each CR4 member:

Join date, date of last visit, date of last post, number of posts, and number of good answers.

I'm not sure why potential employers would be interested in these, but if being a CR4 guru would look good on your resume, I suppose you could put it there.
