Phillips 00 and 000 Standards

06/11/2010 9:45 AM

Does anybody know where to get standards for Phillips size 00 and 000? I have had no luck finding dimensions standards as I need to obtain test blocks in these sizes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have contacted several mfgs. of test blocks and they were unable to find any standard for these sizes.

Thank you

B107 Standards
The B107 ASME series standard is given to various hand tools and accessories. The Committee of B107 Standards operate under the American National Standards Institutes's procedure. The B107 Committees are comprised of experts in the field of hand tools. These standards are published by ASME after being approved by ANSI and ASME. The B107 standards on hand tools cover the complete general and dimensional data for hand tools, including safety and other requirements.

I do have the ASME standards for screwdrivers but they only cover down to size 0 in Phillips. I contacted a license holder for Phillips and they did not know of any standards for the size 00 and 000 Phillips( they make Phillips test blocks).I wonder if the dimensions were downsized from size 0 or "made up". Any information would be helpful.

Thank you.

I would presume Phillips precision is another classification.
