In power plant boiler, we are measuring drum level... In level measurement, one balancing vessel is included in between instrument tapping and level sensor.... what is the purpose of this balancing vessel? without balance vessel, what will happen?

Hi,

With out you giving us some details.

A balancing vessel or chamber will be needed for dampening turbulence, splashing or any other kind of ways that the process can interfere with the measuring device.
