I know it's obvious to some, but have you first tried the supplier of the package substation? I would have thought that they would supply good documentation as part of the package, including factory acceptance testing. What about the company website?

Best to start here first as this is a very specialised application. For basic advice you need to go back to the applicable electrical standards and test to those guidelines (one piece of equipment at a time, then linked systems, then protection schemes, I/O, etc, then overall system).

Are you familiar with the applicable electrical standards the substation and site need to comply with?

Thanks for your reply. This is just for information I am asking. I know that the vendor has to conduct the Factory Acceptance Test. But I dont know the applicable standards. Can you provide the testing methods?

Hello

As I see, you are in Qatar, in Qatar the applicable standard is the BS,which is now a part of EN standards very similar to IEC

There is no specific standards for the package substation but you can check the individual standard for each component.

main components are:

Power transformer ( IEC 60076)

Medium voltage parts ( switchgear, fuses, SF6, etc....) ( IEC 600298)

Low voltage switchgear and distribution ( IEC60439)

Greetings
