MFI vs Shear Viscosity

06/23/2010 8:26 AM

Having extrapolated my shear rate vs shear viscosity, I am using the equation to try and give a quick guide to finding my MFI.

Is there a calculation that lets me turn shear viscosity into MFI?

Need MFI to answer your question.

The only thing I could come up with is melt flow index.

Thanks LL, and I could have found that too. But that's not what my MFI acronym meant (the M stands for More and the I stands for Information). It was supposed to be humorous. I guess I had hoped that these sharp engineers, scientists and techies would have "got it" but perhaps it was a feeble attempt at humor.
