Thinking of going to the beach this weekend? Well, if you're not worried about Hurricane Emily, you might be wondering about two recent shark attacks along the U.S. East Coast. "The Science of Shark Attacks and How to Avoid Them" contains some tidbits of useful information. Still, advice such as "The best thing to do when you see a shark is move away" doesn't seem to require an expert's opinion.

I know that you are supposed to avoid yellow and jewelry when swimming in area's with sharks. Tips for avoiding shark attacks.
