	Hi just wondering if anyone can confrm if you can still thread 3 inch gas pipe?

	you can thread any size. The regualtions will not tell you yes or no. From a practicle point, 3" threaded pipe can be used if the pressure is low. I would not like to have a 1000 psia 3" threaded line. a 275 psig line is just fine.

	Exactly what happened with me. Between 2000 - 2003 I'd buy Computer books (weight of 1 suitcase /28 kg allowed on an airline) on request of my kid Zeeshan studying in Toronto and deliver from Pakistan every annual visit. On the 3rd year I asked my wife that Zeeshan must be highly educated based on the books he requested and that i had brought for him every visit. My wife said "YES" and then took be down to our basement, lifted the bed sheet and presto!!!! all books were stacked and supporting the bed-frame that was broken. My wife then said " Loading books on donkeys do not make them intellegent". __________________ I not only use all the brains that I have, but all that I can borrow. Woodrow Wilson
