Where should insulated bearings be used? Why in some applications isn't the problem of circulating current from bearing to shaft exists in every motor?

Dear Friend,

INSULATED BEARINGS are used in the VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE MOTORS, where the HORMONICS is created and it is nuisance and HORMONICS CURRENT circulates, through the shaft and hence INSULATED BEARING is used in the VFD Motors on one side, since the current path is broken.

Thanks,
