Application For 67N Directional Neutral Overcurrent Relay

07/01/2010 12:35 PM

Greetings!

I think a 67N relay is best for detecting overcurrent in ungrounded/grounded/peterson system. Is this relay essential for any other application?

How is the market for this relay in India? what are the types of grounding used in India for distribution, generation system?

First of all why do you think that 67N is best - provide reasioning please.

For your information any "directional element" relay would have much limited utility anywhere in world, only some particular cases justify use of directional relays.
