Switch off some single phase loads like lighting from one of the phases, use a v meter between neutral and ground.

The Question should be very specific as what is exactly required, because neutral missing in a balanced or unbalanced load means, the load is an industrial equipment.

Since neutral missing in a domestic usage is no meaning as if it is missing no single phase equipment works.

Connect a single-phase load between one of the phases and neutral. If the load does not operate, then neutral is disconnected between the supply and the load point.

Missing neutral? From Where? You can't find the neutral wire or there is none connected ?

really, your question is unanswerable unless by someone with the same kind of environment logic!!?
