Stirling Stan,

I'm with you: it really is important that people asking questions provide as much information about their needs as possible.

A question for you: What's a WAG?

There is a device called a Hilsch Vortex Tube. It uses compressed air and separates it into to air streams. One hot and one cold. They are supposed to reach temperatures of -10F maximum adjusted for the cold side and 140F maximum adjusted for the hot side. They are a very cool device as long as you have a good source of compressed air. They are commercially sold as Vortex tubes and they really do work. We use them in our welding shop to keep material from warping from the heat.

I hope this helps.
