This question ranks up there with "when does she get pregnant"?

Hmm.. the "Best" way. How about a refrigerated trailer?

This has been discussed here before:

Deer, not elephant.

The pictured trailer is about right for two Montana deer...

A photo of one of my huntin' buddies, and his favorite deer rifle.

How about a "Coolgardie safe"?

Basically a frame covered with hessian. At the top the hessian is in a trough of water with a similar trough at the bottom to collect any surplus. (For those not old enough to remember it, hessian is a jute or sisal bag material. Similar materials should be cheaply available. Use cotton or wool as the synthetics don't wet well enough).

The water evaporates from the wet hessian, cooling it.

When I was a kid in the country, this was the only form of cooling available for keeping meat, stopping butter melting etc.

You could readily have a demountable frame in the back of a pick up so this could be set up or dismantled whenever you wanted to.
