The ones with the greater output per unit price. But beware of other factors such as posters using texting notation!

I have been looking into this myself, but a computer crash lost the website that described the different types of Solar panels.

What I recall is that for price per energy, the thin film type are the way to go. But for the energy per area, the mono crystal slightly outweigh the polycrystalline theoretically, but in application were virtually the same for output and both were better than the thin film.

always read panel specs. your doing really good if the RMS values are 16-19%--on hot days it will also drop 2 %--mounting is important to keep panels from over heat. Everyone is switching to film based panels because they generate high power and the next year the prise of panels will drop by half. Silicone base panels are history---

As long as the semi-conductor market controls the price of the raw materials we will have to wait.

if you can find one that works at night that would be great, there must be energy in darkness if there is energy in lightness

One must consider many factors when rating any form of energy generation. Solar Power is an ultimate, but is not limited to simply generating electrical power directly by converting the sun's electrical-magnetic energy directly into electrical energy. Please be far more specific. Crystal silicon can provide more electrical power per area, none-crystal silicone comes in second, with other means following up. In another discussion on CR4 is another means of harvesting solar enerrgy. Perhaps you need to follow that discussion, too.
