It means it is used for heating the water which is coming from condender to Deaerator and that feddwater before going to Boiler we are heating it with HP & LP heater.

Also What is difference between HP & LP Heater ?

The low pressure and high pressure heater in steam power plant is used to increase the efficiency of boiler. The condensate water from the condenser get heated in LP heater by steam which is extracted from LP Turbines. The water after BFP get heated by HP heater by steam which is extracted from HP & IP turbines.

aj....

First you ask for a detailed explanation of a Condensate extraction pump.....then you want to know about LP and HP heaters...

Will your next request be for an explanation of boiler feed pumps and then....of course for the deaerator ?

Are you slowly working your way to the boiler ?

Why don't you review and investigate the components and functions of equipment in a typical steam cycle and then get back to us ?

Try "WIKIPEDIA" or any of hundred of websites.

Then ask a specific question about something that you do not understand.
