AHU CFM & Tonnage Calculation

Can anyone please explain me the CFM and TR calculation for AHU ?

CFM stands for cubic feet per minute, and is an indication of the air flowrate through the unit.

TR stands for tons of refrigeration, and is an indication of how much cooling is available from the unit; it could be converted to other units of power like BTU/hr of kW readily using conversion factors (though note that the electrical load will be smaller than the cooling load by a factor called the coefficient of performance [CoP]).

Without some temperatures, it is not possible to relate the two measures.

There is an article in Wikipedia to get started in air conditioning, which might be worth a read, perhaps?
