I wasn't around then but I currently own a '48 Ford Super Deluxe 2 door

and a '69 Ford Galaxie 2 door

I have restored both back to stock and as close to original as possible.

I don't get along too well with hot rodders as I see it as a sin to put a Chevy 350 in an old Ford. "Cheaper and Easier" should not be in and classic car owners vocabulary. And that is the answer I keep getting when I ask why.

I recall numerous times at events hearing a motor being revved in the distance and hearing or making the comment "that's either a race car or a Chevy".
