Spring Mechanical Fix for Koken Chair

07/28/2010 12:18 PM

I have a 1966 plain jane Koken barber chair with a spring tension handle to allow the back to be lowered. I had to have the bracket repaired and now I can NOT figure out how the spring mechanism reattaches back. Is there any one out there with a picture how that darn spring goes onto the handle. I will be more than happy to post a picture of the mechanism if that would help. Thanks a bundle!

Welcome to CR4. Most of us are at least a little bit mechanically inclined. Post your pic and we'll be happy to take a look!
