If by "lightup" you mean start the combustion process....please explain...?

Most coal fired boilers begin the combustion process by firing light fuel oil from the same burners that will fire pulverized coal.

When everything is hot, they switch to coal

Dear Sir,

It's true

Most coal fired boilers begin the combustion process by firing light fuel oil from the same burners that will fire the coal.

But we add charcoal.

When everything is hot, we switch to coal.

But I want to know can we use lignite inplace of charcoal.

Regards.
