08/04/2010 3:46 PM

I have two datasheets in PDF format. Now I need to combine them into one PDF file. Does any one know how to do it?

Adobe has a 30 day trial....used to be call distiller or something, here you can combine files (unless there is some sort of security on them), if you like it, you can purchase the software....

Google and check out their website.

This is an excellent, free, safe, PDF tool program:

In the Ubuntu packages repositories, a few options for apps to use to combine *.pdf files:

pdfLaTeX

pdftk

pdfsam

pdfshuffler

python-pypdf

This is list is obviously incomplete, but illustrates that there are a great deal of options out there for combining *.pdf files...

In Adobe Acrobat (not Adobe Reader) go to Menu Bar item "Document", drop down to "Insert Pages", point to the pdf document you want to insert, enter OK. Save the new file and you are home and hosed. Similar process to add/delete/re-arrange pages in a pdf document. Good luck.

I have used primePDF (which is a free download) also to append to existing PDF's.

I think you have plenty of options now.

If you have an Adobe Acrobat (PDF maker) license, then just open your first file and append the second one to it end. Use the 'Control-I' hotkey combination to do that.

Cheers!

if it is all text, you can do it with vb/vba or a text editor.

(I have a vb app somewhere that I wrote.. I'll see if I can find it.)

If you just need to edit them one at a time, http://www.pdfescape.com/ is great includes whiteout.

There's also monkey merge and a host of others.

If you have a mac, just drag and drop....

If you have word, then you can open them up, and convert, using the lessons here from adobe: http://www.adobe.com/education/pdf/etd/etd_lesson2.pdf
