Just eliminate the delta connection. (Though I'm not sure you really want to....)

If the motor is designed to deliver its rated power in delta, you will only get 1/3 of that in Star. Can it handle the load then?

Before 'how' comes 'why'. Discuss!

In the motor terminal box there is 6 lead of wire coming out from the motor winding coil for the Star Delta motor. On the top roll of the terminal, the motor winding coil is marked as U1, V1, and W1 where, on the bottom roll of the terminal is marked as V2, W2, and U2.

U1 and U2 are a pair of the winding where U1 is the winding coil head and U2 is the winding coil tail. That goes to V1, V2 and W1,W2.

To convert the Star Delta to a Star connection motor, you need some copper link to link the tail of the motor winding coil that is the U2, V2and W2 together. The U1, V1, and W1 will be connected to the incoming power supply.

You will only have 1/3 of the motor power and torque. It may not able to drive your load.
