Hi !!!
I hope all of you are doing fine.
I'm writing this message because i just recently got a
Lowrey Debut L70 but it doesn't work properly. I would love to fix
it because i always wanted to learn how to play the piano, and this is the one that i have right now.
The fist time that i tested it, neighter of the keyboards worked, and when i selected one of the beats, it sounded ok, and sometimes it din't sound at all. When i opened the case on the back, i noticed that it was all dirty and filled with dust, and the power supply seemed like it consisted in two printed circuitis (one next to the other). Imediately, i noticed that one of the fuses(3amps) of the power suply (on the printed circuit on the right)was blown, and it had a wire across the fuse like some kind of bypass. I removed the wire and the defective fuse, and inserted a new one of 3 amps.
Then, i turned it on and checked the voltajes on the printed circuit of the left of the power supply, but the Voltajes that i measured, are not the ones that are supposed to be (the p.circuit have indications of the Voltajes at different points). didn't measure the voltajes on the printed circuit on the right of the power supply, because it doesn't say what voltajes are supposed to be there on that p.circuit. Also i measured that there is 10vac on each key of the keyboards.
Also, after replacing the fuse, the beats works the same, and the lower keyboard with the volume potentiometer at max, doesnt sound, but when i put the pedal at max it makes an attempt to sound, but with very low volume and distortioned.
I will change all the capacitors on the power supply (both p.circuit)
and change the 2 transistor that are supposed to be darlingtons. the ones that have mounted are motorola 26039-02 8113.
The 2 7805 are working fine.
Any other ideas ??
Thanks in advance.
