tell me exactly what does DP means and stands for? what is profibus?

To muddy things up a bit, we also must consider Profibus PA. (Process Automation)

DP also stands for Differential Pressure.

Not in this case at all , It is used in Siemens Sematic PLC , they use Profibus DP , and you have to configure the DP , Keeping in the mind that it is same as Centralized modules.

Here instead of arranging Modules in the rack you assign DP sations (Profibus nodes ) toa DP MAster. (Mater -Slave )

OK buddy . no issues

Actually there are two community

1. Electrical and Instrumentation &

2. Control & Instrumentation.

In the frist one, people Consider Automation as a IT solution part , however the second one have to consider it ,in as there job inspite of from Electrical and Instrumentation dept .

It happens ! even me also trying to devlop these skills a bit .
