Co2 Moulding

Hi,

I need the information about the CO2 gas... how much gas I need to make the mould hard... what would be the caluculation for that...

The question needs some context. What is being moulded? Into what? How much of it? At what temperature and pressure? What is the function of the CO2? Etc., etc.

Hai,,,

Thanks for your reply.... And this for foundry purpose, In this the silica sand & sodium silicate mixed together and compressed into the pattern after that the co2 passed and in seconds it harder one. In this how much of co2 will be consumed?? and is it havin any formula to calculate??? the weight is aprox 10 kgs. Do you have any idea about that????

Dear Dinesh, Context......Do you currently have a freeze tunnel that you will be supplying with co2 …. does it have a rating? Are you looking for the size of the supply tank, or are you trying to calculate the cooling requirement per unit of product ?
