Instrument Cables - Ind Screen vs. OA Screen

What is the difference between Ind screen & OA screen or OA screen?

The first could be called screened multipair cable, and is usually used for analog circuits with one analog loop in each pair.

The second could be called screened multicore cable, and is often to be found on digital input/output wiring.

The first is done to provide a measure of isolation between individual loops.

The second does not, as isolation on digitals is rarely needed.
