Np2 Automatic Controller For Emergency And Standby Power System

09/01/2010 2:33 AM

Dear Friends, I am looking for the exact or direct replacement for an obsolete SEG NP2 Automatic Controller for Emergency and Standby Power Systems, Model NP-2-2-9-24 P1.07b for a few weeks but it was a futile effort. Woodwards Inc. told us that the NP2 was obsolete and could only provide the new version, viz. NC3 or EASYGEN genset Automatic Controllers. The alternative solution will involve the onerous task of reworking the wirings, system configuration, coding list and alarm monitoring, etc. We would appreciate it if anyone can let us know where we can buy the new, used or refurbished unit to replace our existing SEG NP2 Automatic Controller. Cheer! Thank you and regards. Rockybeer Malaysia

Rockybeer,

My name is Shiraz Mohammed and I work in the oil & gas industry in the West Indies. Right now we have a problem with our SEG controller for a DEG on the plant and we don't have a replacement. Can you tell me if you were able to source a direct replacement for yours and from whom?

Since I am not a member of this forum can you respond to shiraz.mohammed@ipsl.co.tt

Thanks,

Shiraz

You can use PLC as a direct replacement and more than reliable and flexible than OLD SEG

for this old stuff and no stock in the market, we did to replace it into PLC system. all monitorings, alarms..etc... was working good more than the old one. so I advise you to retrofitt into other controllers,, more reliable and flexible is PLC system.
