Yes, if it meets the codes for the country where it is installed, if the additional wiring conditions are met (rigid conduit, seal offs).

As per NEC 70, For Zone 0 , Only Ex(ia) schemes are approved

Not in Europe.

Why would one want electrical equipment where a potentially explosive atmosphere is present under normal conditions more or less continuously? Surely the objective is to keep electricity out of Zone 0?
