Flowmeter Selection

09/05/2010 9:12 AM

Hi,

we need to select flowmeter for Water application 1/4/8/14 " line, its only for indication ,no need for DCS readings,

Pressure 70-100Psig /Temperature 45 deg c

1) We dont have power supply near the installation

Is there any flow meter available without power supply suitable for such application

Regards

Jose

See-Flo® meters indicate flow rate and permit visual inspection of water, air or other transparent fluids. For general purpose industrial service, See-Flo® meters handle a wide range of process fluids in vertical or horizontal piping runs.

The wedge shape of the meter housing makes See-Flo® practically self-cleaning. Where periodic maintenance might be necessary, the tempered glass window is easily removed and replaced. Because of its large internal cavities this product will not plug up like the old glass tube "rotameters".

Each flowmeter is calibrated to be direct reading for the liquid or gas operating conditions that you specify. Scales with special engineering units and dual units of measure are available.

Any variable area flowmeter can be used in a vertical pipe, with the flow going ↑wards.

try neptune meters, or even corix will have such a meter. you can see both on web sites to se if they meet your demands. both operate on flow and they actually will generate there own millivolt power for remoter reading.
